Estepona is a tourist town located on the Costa del Sol, in the south of Spain. The promenade is full of palm trees and runs next to the Rada beach. Here are some of the best things you can do in Estepona:
Visit The Tejerinas House
It is a rectangular building from the 18th century located in the Plaza de las Flores. The most notable elements are the central patio, surrounded by columns, the doorway and the viewing tower with arcades on the upper floor. The building was owned by the sisters Carmen and Francisca Tejerina. The latter donates it to the Hospital de la Caridad, having healthcare use until the City Council takes charge of it. Currently, it has cultural use.
Walk Through the Bulevar
This pedestrian boulevard is one of the best promenades in Spain. It extends from Terraza Street to the Punta Doncella lighthouse. This garden avenue creates a pleasant space for walking, highlighting its decoration with garden areas of plants and flowers. The project culminates in the Mirador del Carmen, a socio-cultural facility that houses an exhibition hall, where fifty pieces from the Carmen Thyssen collection are on display, and a viewing tower that has impressive views of the Mediterranean.

The Mirador Tower is a watchtower from which you can enjoy impressive panoramic views of the city and the Mediterranean Sea. It is the work of Malaga architect Salvador Moreno Peralta, national urban planning award winner.

Estepona has several outstanding beaches: Playa del Cristo forms a beautiful cove and is ideal at any time of the year because it is sheltered from the winds. This small beach, 680 meters long, is an ideal environment for children, the water is very clean and warm, as it is protected. Playa de la Rada is the most emblematic of Estepona. One of its advantages is that it is located near the main streets of the municipality, creating convenience for those who wish to visit the center. Punta de la Plata Beach is a long and narrow beach, with a moderate influx of people, since it is located next to the wider and busier Playa de la Rada.
