Standing over 10 meters tall with an approximate base perimeter of 26 meters, this imposing structure is located near the mouth of the Chopo Stream and the ancient Roman baths of Las Bóvedas, within the San Pedro Alcántara district.
As a historical relic, the tower was part of a coastal surveillance network used by Christians in past times. Like its counterparts along the Andalusian Mediterranean coast, this tower is classified as a Cultural Heritage Site, a silent witness to past eras and a jewel of Spanish heritage.
