The Córdoba Zoo, due to its size and diversity, is an excellent option for having fun with the little ones in the house. Córdoba offers this excellent option for fun for children. All the animals in the zoo have a name and a story, so the little ones will have a great time getting to know them. It is located next to the town of the children, so it is the perfect complement to a family day out in Córdoba.
The Royal Botanical Garden of Córdoba
Plants are a very important part of our planet and this symbol of life, located opposite the Zoo, is a great option for the family. And not only because of its diversity but also because of the range of activities that the Royal Botanical Garden offers with workshops for children and a programme for camping at night among the plants. A military building in the city, located on the northern bank of the river, it was built on the site of the old Umayyad Alcázar during the reign of Alfonso X and Alfonso XI. The Catholic Monarchs resided here during the reconquest of Granada.
Medina Azahara
Palatine city and crowning achievement of the Caliphate of Córdoba, which was built by Caliph Abderraman III in the 10th century as a show of power in Al-Andalus. Declared a World Heritage Site in 2018, it is located 20 minutes by car from the capital.
Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba
