Salvatierra Palace in Ronda

The main entrance of the palace is flanked by a pair of Corinthian columns that frame a wide lintelled door. Above, a finely decorated frieze supports an elegant balcony closed by a splendid wrought iron grille. However, what truly distinguishes this facade are the four Inca figurines that, in the style of the atlantes of classical architecture, support a straight pediment with the coat of arms of the buildings promoters at its center. This detail not only adds an exotic touch but also reflects the rich history and cultural influences converging in Ronda.

An Interior of Luxury
The interior of the Palacio de Salvatierra is equally fascinating. It houses a valuable collection of high-quality furniture and decorative objects, including exquisite carvings and paintings. Each room of the palace offers a window into the past, showcasing the splendor with which its former inhabitants lived.

Gardens and Spectacular Views
At the back of the palace, you will find a charming garden that offers stunning views of the Sierra de las Nieves. This green space is perfect for a relaxing stroll while enjoying the surrounding landscape. Additionally, from the garden, one can admire a privileged view of Rondas ancient medieval walls and its historic Arab baths.

Cultural Heritage
The Palacio de Salvatierra is not only a monument of great beauty but also a Bien de Interés Cultural, as published in the Official State Bulletin (BOE) in 1982. Its protection as a monument ensures the preservation of its valuable architecture and the history it represents
