The building of the butterfly house, in Thai style, stands out for its authenticity, as many of the construction materials and decorative elements were imported directly from Thailand. For example, the blue tiles of the pagoda that covers the entrance were specially manufactured in Chiang Mai for this butterfly house. The choice of this architectural style is based on its aesthetic and conceptual harmony with the adjacent Buddhist temple, the Stupa of Enlightenment. Additionally, Asia, particularly China, is where butterfly breeding for silk production began 4,000 years ago, and later in Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia for display in captivity.

The flight area of the butterfly house is a glassed tropical garden of over 900 square meters and eight meters high. Here, between 1,500 and 2,000 butterflies of exotic species from tropical regions around the world fly freely. Throughout the year, visitors can observe more than 150 different species. Approximately 70% of the butterflies are bred internally, while the remaining 30% are imported from their natural habitats.

In addition to the butterflies, the butterfly house is home to other animals such as birds, iguanas, turtles, fish, and a Tammar Wallaby, offering visitors a complete experience of tropical biodiversity
