• Room 1: Natural Environment Room

Karstic forms and geological and paleontological richness. The landscapes that surround us are the result of surprising geological processes that occurred millions of years ago.

• Room 2: Prehistory Room

Display cases contain remains from the Stone Age (Paleolithic and Neolithic) and the Metal Age (Copper and Bronze).

• Room 3: Protohistory Room

Displays remains from the Tartessian and Iberian periods.

• Room 4: Roman Room

Remains from the Roman period are on display. The epigraphy is very interesting, demonstrating the importance of the Roman municipality of Ipolcobúlcola (Carcabuey).

• Room 5: Medieval Room

This section consists of two sections: the Visigothic period, represented by metallic materials, and the Arab-Andalusian and Castilian periods.

• Room 6: Modern Room.

It is specifically documented with information panels, complemented by a view of the Baroque buildings and a model of the Church of the Assumption.

• Room 7: 19th and 20th Centuries. It documents the historical, social, economic, and political situation that Carcabuey experienced during these two centuries.

• Contemporary Room: The corresponding rooms (19th, 20th, and 21st centuries) are dedicated to the ethnological heritage of the town, such as its festivals, customs, traditions, and gastronomy.
