Benalauría Ethnographic Museum

This impressive property houses an ethnographic jewel inside: a completely preserved "blood" oil mill, along with wine presses and the tools necessary for its operation, offering an authentic vision of the ancient methods of oil production.

The greatest treasure of this museum lies in the integrity of the oil mill complex, which remains as it was in the past, allowing visitors to discover how olive oil was produced with traditional techniques. In addition, in the different spaces of the museum, farming tools and everyday objects in rural areas are exhibited, such as a grape press, wheeled threshers, plows, and elements used in food preparation, which makes it a fascinating place to understand rural life of the time.

The Ethnographic Museum not only preserves local history, but is also a tourist information point, from which travelers can begin their exploration of Benalauría and the charming Genal Valley
