Caja Granada Museum

Designed by architect Alberto Campo Baeza, who also created the Caja Granada cube, the museum draws inspiration from the penguin pool at the London Zoo and the layout of the Palace of Charles V. The architect has crafted a rectangular plan with an elliptical courtyard featuring two intertwined spirals in immaculate white.

It houses the Caja Granada Cultural Center and is home to the Memory of Andalucía Museum, which incorporates new technologies to see, touch, hear, and feel Andalucía.

The complex includes the Isidoro Máiquez Theater, where the entire seating can be retracted; the Plaza de las Culturas, an outdoor space for daytime and summer activities; and the Pantalla building, which contains numerous workshop rooms and a restaurant on the top floor with spectacular views of the Vega.
