Malaga Aeronautical Museum

A Journey Through the History of Aviation

The Aerospace Museum of Malaga, located in the former building of the Malaga Air Base, is dedicated to the history of aviation in Spain and, in particular, in the Andalusia region.

Opened in 1997, it houses more than 100 aircraft and a rich variety of exhibits that include historic airplanes, helicopters, and a wide range of scale models. Among the most notable aircraft are models from the Spanish Air Force, as well as planes from the time of the Spanish Civil War and World War II. Aviation-related artifacts are also on display, such as flight instruments, pilot uniforms, and a specialized library on aeronautics.

Additionally, the museum often organizes temporary exhibitions on specific themes related to aviation, thus offering new experiences for returning visitors.
