The Church of La Milagrosa

The construction of the Church of La Milagrosa in Huelva took place in the first half of the 20th century, between 1922 and 1931, under the design of architect Pedro Sánchez Núñez. It is one of the principal examples of modernist architecture in Huelva and is characterized by its eclectic style, which combines Neo-Gothic and Neo-Mudejar elements.

The facade of the church is impressive, featuring elaborate decoration that includes arches, columns, and ornamental details. Inside, the church has a spacious and bright central nave, decorated with colorful stained glass and artistic details that enhance its beauty.

The Church of La Milagrosa is an important center of Marian devotion in Huelva, dedicated to Our Lady Star of the Sea. It is frequently visited by faithful and tourists who wish to admire its architecture and participate in religious activities.
