Inside, the church is organized into three naves, with the central nave covered by a barrel vault featuring lunettes and transverse arches, supported by an entablature with an overhanging cornice. The fluted pilasters, adorned with plaster plaques on their shafts, are attached to square pillars from which the semicircular arches rise, separating the central nave from the lateral ones, which are currently divided into cells.
The transept is topped by a dome on a drum with paired windows, while the rectangular presbytery is covered by a barrel vault with lunettes. This space houses a square chapel with a semi-dome decorated with pictorial motifs.
The exterior facade consists of three sections of masonry separated by brick pilasters. The main entrance, made of stone, features a semicircular arch with a molded voussoir and jambs decorated with coffers. Floral motifs adorn the keystone of the arch, while the spandrels are embellished with diamond-point patterns. The arch is framed by fluted pilasters topped with pyramidal capitals.
To the right of the facade rises the octagonal tower, finished with plaster to simulate stone ashlar.
Among the most notable movable goods is a gilded silver reliquary inlaid with precious stones, containing the incorrupt hand of Saint Teresa of Jesus, dated to the 17th century. Also of significance is a statue of the Virgin of Sorrows under the title of La Soledad, from the 19th century, and several oil paintings from the 17th century, including one depicting scenes from the life of Saint Peter Nolasco, attributed to Fray Agustín Leonardo
