Paleontological Museum of Estepona

The Paleontological Museum of Estepona was inaugurated in 2000, being a reference in the recognition of Andalusian paleontological heritage.

In its rooms there are different replicas of dinosaur collections, samples of original fossils from geological eras represented in Andalusia.

Highlights include Pliocene marine mollusks from the Malaga and Estepona basins, a coral reef from the Upper Triassic, a selection of fossils from the Lower Cambrian, the Mesozoic era and the Cenozoic era to the Holocene and a sample of rocks and minerals from the environment. .
