Fairs of the Province of Málaga

Andalusian fairs originated from both livestock trading and religious reasons, as most of these festivities are dedicated to patron saints or the Virgin Mary.

Today, while they often include a religious component, they have transformed into events specifically designed for fun, entertainment, and social interaction, offering a variety of recreational activities. Below are the dates of the fairs taking place in our province, organized by month, so you can check if they fit your schedule!


Month of May

Fuengirola Fair

From May 1 to May 5, the International Fair of the Peoples welcomes over thirty countries to showcase their culture. Traditional costumes, handicrafts, and international cuisine are displayed, along with music and dance performances.



Month of June

Benalmádena Fair

From June 23 to June 30. The Benalmádena Fair begins with fireworks and bonfires on the Night of San Juan on June 23. The fair then takes place from June 25 to June 30. There are two main areas of focus for the fair: the Day Fair in Plaza de la Mezquita and Plaza de Pueblosol, featuring live music and dance performances, and the Night Fair at the Benalmádena fairgrounds, where you can enjoy booths, rides, and live music shows.

Ronda Romántica Fair

From June 6 to 9, Ronda hosts an event that recreates the era of bandits and romantic travelers from the late 19th century. During these days, you can enjoy a historical experience full of charm, with activities and events that will transport you to that fascinating time. Do not miss the chance to immerse yourself in local culture and enjoy the unique atmosphere that Ronda offers during this event.

Frigiliana Fair

From June 13 to June 16. This white village in the Axarquía region of Málaga celebrates its fair in honor of the local patron, San Antonio de Padua, every June 13. You can enjoy numerous activities, including outdoor concerts and its unique horse ribbon race.



Month of July

Rincón de la Victoria Fair

From July 12 to July 16. This event pays homage to the Virgen del Carmen, the patron saint of sailors. Activities are concentrated in the main areas: in Plaza Al Ándalus, you can find both daytime and nighttime activities such as concerts and dance performances. Meanwhile, the attractions will be located on the Huerta Julián esplanade.

Torre del Mar Fair

Torre del Mar Fair: From July 24 to July 28. Torre del Mar is one of the main coastal municipalities in the province of Málaga. This festival features a procession in honor of the Virgen del Carmen, the patron saint of sailors, which has been declared a Festival of Tourist Interest in Andalucía. Additionally, you can enjoy numerous concerts and outdoor attractions at the local fairgrounds.



Month of August

Benahavís Fair

From August 14 to August 18.During these dates, homage is paid to the patron saint of the town, the Virgen del Rosario. The inauguration day is especially significant, featuring a grand parade and the illumination of the fairgrounds.

Málaga Fair

From August 17 to August 24. This festival commemorates the reconquest of the city by the Catholic Monarchs in August 1487. The fairgrounds, known as the Real, are located at the former Cortijo de Torres, where various activities, contests, performances, and concerts take place. You can also enjoy numerous shows in the city center during the day, and the lively atmosphere will provide you with a unique experience.



Month of September

Torremolinos Fair

From October 26 to 31, there is a grand celebration in honor of the local patron San Miguel. You can enjoy a multitude of activities both in the city center during the day and at the fairgrounds at night.

Month of October

Fuengirola Fair

From October 6 to October 12. The Fuengirola Fair is celebrated in honor of the Virgen del Rosario. Here, you will find a wide variety of activities, concerts, and attractions, including horse exhibitions, fireworks, and a day dedicated to children with activities tailored for them.

Nerja Fair

From October 9 to October 13, you will find a grand celebration in this town in honor of the local patron saints, the Virgen de las Angustias and San Miguel Arcángel. You can enjoy parades, concerts, attractions, and many other activities.
