Información

Built in the 14th century during the time of the Caliphate of Córdoba. It presents a Mudejar architectural style, which combines Islamic and Christian architectural influences with Jewish tradition. The synagogue has a square plan and is decorated with beautiful horseshoe arches, marble columns and elaborate geometric motifs.

For centuries, the synagogue served as a place of prayer and meeting for the Jewish community of Córdoba. However, after the expulsion of the Jews from Spain in 1492, the building was confiscated and used for other purposes. Over the years, it has been restored and renovated several times, and is now a tourist and cultural attraction that attracts visitors from all over the world.
