Alameda Interpretation Center

A Space to Discover Ancient Rome

With an exhibition that extends over 475 m², the Thematic Center of the Roman Baths is organized into six thematic sectors that detail the functioning and importance of these facilities in Roman society. Visitors will be able to learn how the hot springs were not only bathing places, but also social, political and cultural centers where citizens of all classes met.

Connection with the History of Banditry

In addition to its archaeological value, the center is part of the "Lands of José María El Tempranillo" network of tourist resources, a route that covers the provinces of Córdoba, Seville and Málaga. This route follows in the footsteps of the famous bandit José María "El Tempranillo", connecting towns that were key in his life, such as Jauja-Lucena, Badalatosa, Corcoya, Alameda, Benamejí, Casariche and Palenciana.
